Chapter 2. The effectiveness of Green Marketing Strategies in the Automotive Industry:

a Consumer-based Analysis – Domenico Morrone, Angeloantonio Russo and
Donato Calace

Donato Calace is a Ph.D. candidate in the international program “The Economics
and Management of Natural Resources” jointly developed by the
LUM Jean Monnet University – Italy, Megatrend University, Belgrad (Serbia),
China Three Gorges University (CTGU) – China, Louisiana Tech University
– USA and Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University (SPbSFTU) –
Russia. He has been working in the sustainability reporting field for 3 years,
analyzing the relationship between non-financial disclosure and environmental
performance, reporting and market value, national culture and sustainability
reporting. He served as Visiting Scholar at Cass Business School,
London. He presented the results of his studies in international conferences
such as the OFEL International Conference, the IFKAD International Conference,
the CSR Trends International Conference. He published on the International
Journal of Business Administration and he is serving as Associate
Editor for the EMNR Working Paper Series of the LUM University Ph.D. program.

Angeloantonio Russo. Born in 1977. Full Professor of Management at LUM
Jean Monnet University, where he is also Director of the PhD Program in
The Economics and Management of Natural Resources. Degree in Business
Administration, Parthenope University, Naples, Italy (2000). Visiting scholar
at the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY (2003),
and SMEAL College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, University
Park, PA (2003). Ph.D. in Business Administration & Management, Bocconi
University, Milan, Italy (2004). He is partner of the Academy of Management.
His research interests include acquisition process, alliances and management
of corporate development processes, corporate responsibility,
environmental management, social issues in management, renewable energy,
and sustainable innovation.

Domenico Morrone, Ph.D. in “Management“ at Lucian Blaga University
of Sibiu (Ro) and Ph.D. in the international program “The Economics and
Management of Natural Resources”, jointly developed by the LUM Jean
Monnet University (It) and other foreign universities. Actually he is professor
of “Management of Natural Resources” at LUM Jean Monnet University,
where he is also the Scientific Coordinator of the first level Master in “Innovation,
Retail and e-Marketing”. He has experience in oil industry, having
worked for 8 years, from 2000 to 2008, at ERG Petroli S.p.A. (actually TotalErg),
in trading, development and analysis sectors. His fields of research
are: sustainable development, green marketing, energy and agrifood. He
presented the results of his studies in international conferences such as
ARA Conference, Sustainable Development Symposium and Marketing and
Business Development. He published on international journals.
